Nordic Skiing 5th and 6th in Dartmouth Opener

Hanover N.H. - The Nordic Ski Team opened the Dartmouth Carnival with the Classic event Friday, as the men and women raced into 5th and 6th respectively.  Getting an early taste of the 2025 NCAA Skiing Championship courses (March 5-8), Colby put four men and three women in the top-30.

Jack Young led the pack in 7th place, following up on his 4th place result in last week's qualifier.  Andrew Defor continues his stellar sophomore season, notching his fifth top-15 result of the year in 12th place.  Taiga Moore and Benjamin Lewis earned valuable NCAA qualifying points in 28th and 29th respectively.  On the women's side Lydia Kraker, Maddie Hooker, and Natalie O'Brien finished in 23rd, 24th, and 29th respectively.  Hooker has placed in the top-30 in the last two qualifiers.

The Mules return to the trails at Oak Hill Saturday for the Freestyle Mass Start event.  The women kick out at 10:00am with the men to follow at 12:00pm.
