Senior Sports Awards

Dating back to 1966 with the presentation of the Donald P. Lake ‘55 and Norman White ’50 Awards, the Senior Sports Awards are a collection of 10 awards given out at the end of each academic year, presented by Colby Athletics to honor the best of each year's senior class.  Since the inaugural presentation of two awards, the collection has grown to include the Bill Millett ‘25 Award (first presented in 1968), the Marjorie D. Bither Award (first presented in 1979), the Patty Valavanis ’80 Award (first presented in1982), the Pamela Hoyt-Sanborn ‘87 Award (first presented in 1999), the Warren J. Finegan ’51 Award (first presented in 2000), the Richard L. Whitmore Jr. Award (first presented in 2012), and the Mule Impact Award (first presented in 2017).
