Waterville, Maine - Hannah Keefe has been promoted to Assistant Head Coach of the Colby Field Hockey Program ahead of the 2026-27 academic year. Keefe has been an essential piece of the Mules' coaching staff for the past three seasons now entering her fourth, consistently driving the growth of the program both on and off the turf.

"I am extremely honored for this recognition and promotion," stated Keefe. "Over the last three years, I have had the privilege to work alongside Coach Whittemore to continue elevating our program on both the conference and national levels. We've made incredible strides as a program, and I cannot wait to continue working with our group of incredible women to make this program thrive." 

Keefe arrived on Mayflower Hill to start the 2023 season following a decorated five-year Division I playing career at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Over the course of her three years here at Colby, she has helped the Mules defeat multiple Division III ranked opponents in a highly competitive NESCAC conference.

"Her unwavering commitment, professionalism, and dedication have positively impacted every aspect of our program. Hannah cares deeply about our student-athletes, recruits, alumni, and the greater Colby community, and she consistently goes above and beyond to build meaningful relationships with each. As an assistant coach, she has been a trusted partner in supporting the growth of our program, contributing to our recruiting efforts, mentoring our student-athletes, and helping bring our vision to life each day. Her work ethic, passion for the sport, and commitment to excellence have made her an invaluable member of our staff, and this promotion is a well-deserved recognition of her many contributions to Colby Field Hockey."

The Mules will begin the 2026 campaign welcoming Husson University to campus on September 8th.
