Young Leads Mules in 4th at Dartmouth

Hanover, N.H. - With mirrored team results from a day ago at Dartmouth (men 5th, women 6th), the Colby Nordic team closed out the fourth carnival of the EISA season with Saturday's Freestyle Mass Start.

Jack Young led Colby with his second 4th place finish in as many weeks, sliding in behind two Dartmouth skiers and one from Middlebury.  Andrew Defor placed 18th, making it a perfect six-for-six in top-30 finishes in EISA qualifiers this season. Ellis Slover captured his first collegiate top-30 result in 28th.  Maddie Hooker followed up last week's 9th place finish in the Saint Michael's Freestyle with a 14th place finish Saturday.  Lydia Kraker and Natalie O'Brien were Colby's second and third scorers in 32nd and 37th respectively.

With four carnivals down there are now two to go.  The league will collect next week in Ripton, Vt. for the Middlebury Carnival Friday and Saturday.
