Waterville, Maine- Colby College Men's Squash competed against the Hobart College Statesmen at the Harold Alfond Athletics and Recreation Center. The Mules defeated the Statesmen 8-1 to improve to 3-1 overall and to remain at 0-1 in NESCAC conference competition.
The Mules saw eight 3-0 victories, including matches from
Sebastian Campos and
Inwoo Lee who held their competitors at five points or less in each round. First-year
Carlos Zendejas held strong in his final round to exceed his competitor 14-12 and finish with the 3-0 victory.
Sen Subramaniam fell in his first round but found success in his next three straight rounds.
Tomorrow, January 9th at 5:00 pm, Colby College Men's Squash will compete against the Tufts University Elephants in their final home game before hitting the road.
