Boston, Mass.- Colby College Men's Track and Field traveled to Boston, Massachusetts to compete in the D3 New England Championships.
Some highlights from the meet include a second-place finish by
Ren Zanze in the Men's 400 Meters as well as top-15 finishes by
Raghav Kadambi and
Jackson Coelho. The team of
Peter Martel,
Jackson Coelho,
Ren Zanze, and
Raghav Kadambi had a joint time of 3:19.97 in the Men's 4x400 relay, enough for a fourth-place finish. The Men's Distance Medley Relay team, consisting of
Hayden Bailey,
Matt Long,
Simon Goldstein, and
Gordon Doore, earned a top-ten finish. In the Men's 1000 Meters, sophomore
Hayden Bailey had a personal best time of 2:28.88 besting the rest of his competitors to get the first-place finish. In the field events,
Peter Martel achieved a second-place finish in the Men's Pole Vault with
Logan Lehnert and
Myles Thornton-Sherman also finishing in the top fifteen.
Kevin Yan's distance of 13.29 meters resulted in a top-ten finish in the Men's Triple Jump.
Next Saturday, March 4th, Colby College Men's Track and Field will travel to Medford, Massachusetts to compete in the NCAA Final Qualifier.Â
