Day 3:
Geneva, Ohio - To conclude the 2025 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships the Mules came away with All-American status in five different events including
Levi Biery's national champion first place finish in the men's 400m hurdles. He was able to claim the title with a winning time of 52.26 seconds.
In the women's 400m hurdles
Fiona Mejico had a stellar finish placing second with a time of 59.23 to earn first team All-American recognition. She joined
Tally Zeller,
Olivia Doherty and
Kaitlyn Ewald in the 4x400 relay placing 6th overall with a time of 3:45.31 to earn first team status. The women's 4x100 relay, consisting of Zeller, Mejico, Waheed and
Charlotte Brake-Hoffman earned second team All-American honors following a ninth place finish and a time of 46.63. To wrap up the All-American awards the men's 4x400 relay earn second team recognition following their day one result of 10th place (3:15.65 -
Jackson Coelho,
Peter Martel, Biery,
Ren Zanze).
As a team the men finished 21st overall while the women took 24th.
This concludes the outdoor season for Colby Track & Field who will be back in action for the indoor season next winter.
Day 2:
With a successful day one under their belts,
Simone Waheed finished up the qualifying rounds for the Mules on day two competing in the women's 100m dash. She placed 19th overall with a time of 12.03.
Colby Track & Field will be back at it tomorrow for the finals of both the women's 4x100 and 4x400 relays as well as
Levi Biery and
Fiona Mejico in the 400m hurdle events.
Day 1:
The Mules had a stellar outing in day one of the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships.
Colbys first event of the qualifying rounds was the women's 4x100 relay where the Mules placed 8th overall setting a time of 46.67. This was followed by individual performances from both
Levi Biery in the men's 400m hurdles (52.27) and
Fiona Mejico (59.72) in the same event on the women's side both placing 2nd to qualify for Saturdays final in great position. Both the men's and women's 4x400m relay concluded the busy day for the Mules. The men took 10th in their qualifying heat (3:15.65) while the women placed an impressive 4th place finish (3:47.18).
Simone Waheed will be the lone Mule out on the track today competing in the women's 100m qualifying round scheduled for a 3:45pm start.
