Canton, NY- Colby College Men's Squash competed against the St. Lawrence University Saints, falling 6-3. The Mules are now 6-10 overall and remain at 4-4 in NESCAC conference competition.
Some highlights include wins by
Jonathan Sosa Uranga,
Sen Subramaniam, and
Sebastian Campos. In the first round,
Jonathan Sosa Uranga bested his opponent 11-6, in the second and third rounds the score went to 10-all before
Jonathan Sosa Uranga took the two-point lead to get the 3-0 victory.
Sebastian Campos fell in his second round before reaching the 10-all mark in his third and fourth rounds where he took 12-10 leads to win the match.
Sen Subramaniam also got the 3-1 victory finding success in his first, second, and fourth rounds.
On Saturday, February 4th, Colby College Men's Squash will return home to compete in the last matchup of the regular season against rivals the Bowdoin College Polar Bears at 3:00 pm.
