Amherst, Mass.- The Colby College Men's Squash Team played against the Amherst College Mammoths, falling 3-6. The Mules are now 5-6 overall and 4-3 in NESCAC conference competition.
Some highlights include 3-0 matches from
Dylan Tymkiw and
Sebastian Campos.
Dylan Tymkiw had two close rounds at the end of his match but managed to pull ahead 11-9 in both rounds to go undefeated for the day. #1 seat
Youssef Mostafa had a back-and-forth match with a well matched competitor than ended in a 3-2 victory. After falling in the first two rounds
Youssef Mostafa ensured wins in the next three straight rounds to get the victory.
Adrian Castillo had another close matchup going to five rounds after winning his first and third rounds, and losing his fifth round by two after going to 14 points.
Tomorrow Colby College Men's Squash will travel to Providence, R.I. to play against Brown University in a non-conference matchup at 12:00 pm.
