Waterville, Maine- The Colby College Men's Track and Field Team hosted the Elm City Challenge against the Thomas College Terriers and the University of Maine at Farmington Beavers. The Mules bested both teams to come in first place with the Terriers coming in second place and the Beavers coming in third place to round out the first meet of the season.
Colby finished the meet with 130 points while Thomas finished with 77 points and the University of Maine at Farmington with 70 points. The Mules came in first place in seven of their events. Junior
Raghav Kadambi secured the win in the Men's 400 Meters while freshman
Simon Goldstein earned his first collegiate win in the Men's 600 meters.
Tyler Morris took over the Men's 5000 Meters and A.J. Feldman hit the 1.80m mark to win the Men's High Jump.
Kevin Yan and
Logan Lehnert rounded out the field events with victories in the Men's Triple Jump and Men's Pole Vault. Colby also secured 1st, 2nd, and 4th place in the Men's 4x400 relay.Â
On January 14th Colby College Men's Track and Field will travel to Brunswick, Maine to compete in the Bowdoin Invitational.Â
