WATERVILLE, Maine -- Sam Hitt fought back from two sets down at the eighth position for an important victory to lead 24th-ranked Colby College past 27th-ranked Hobart College in men's squash Friday at the Dunaway Courts.
Hitt (pictured) lost 11-8 and 13-11 in the opening two sets, but settled down and won 11-7, 11-9, 11-5 to pull out the match.
Colby captain Patrick McCarthy earned a 3-1 victory at the second position, including a 13-11 win in the fourth set. Matt Epstein also won by a 3-1 score for the Mules (3-5) at the seventh position.
Third position player Elliot Gross and Colby teammate Will Pepi won 3-0 matches.
