BANGOR, Maine -- Paige Hanssen hit .429 and led the way with seven kills in just two sets for the Colby College volleyball team in a 3-0 win at Husson University on Tuesday night.
The Mules (4-11) will play host to Trinity College on Friday at 8 p.m. as part of Family Homecoming Weekend at Colby.
Colby won by set scores of 25-14, 25-21, 25-12.
Hanssen had just one attack error on 14 total attacks. Nicole Petherbridge (pictured) added six kills, a match-high five service aces, and hit .333 for the Mules. Molly Manuel led the Mules with 17 assists, while Erin Maidman had eight defensive digs. Elizabeth Noyes had seven digs and two aces.
Husson (11-11) received six kills and nine digs from Mary Grace Power. Hanna Hembrow added five kills, 12 assists, 10 digs, and two blocks.
