Waterville, Maine - Welcome to Colby Athletics' summer spotlight series, where we take a look into what Colby student-athletes are working on over the summer break. Up next we have rising senior Antone Moreis of Colby Football.

This summer, Antone is located in his hometown of Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts. A Lieutenant with the Edgartown Harbormaster, he spends most of his days managing operations throughout Edgartown Harbor (picture with harbormaster to the right). Alongside his duties on the water, Antone is completing a mostly remote internship assisting with project work for a mentor at Titan Advisors, an investment management firm based in Stamford, Connecticut. In this role, he assists with research, client materials, and analysis, while participating in meetings and calls to gain deeper insight into the investment industry—specifically within Insurance Solutions. Outside of his work on the harbor and his internship, Antone can usually be found at the gym with his friends or brother preparing for the upcoming season, spending time at the beach, or hanging out. He also spends time during the summer babysitting and mentoring a local pair of brothers (as seen below).

"I am extremely fortunate to be in the position I'm in!" stated Moreis. "I'm surrounded by such a great group of people and support system. I get to be home on Martha's Vineyard, working on Edgartown harbor, all while gaining valuable experience in the Investment industry. I couldn't ask for a better situation!"
