Men's Crew Sweeps Coast Guard

New London, Conn - Men's crew traveled to the Coast Guard Academy late last night for their Dual against the Bears on the Thames River this morning. Sunny skies and warm temps contrasted with the challenging conditions out on the water. From a 10-15mph headwind, an outgoing tide, and an upstream course, the river provided many opportunities for the athletes not to perform well. Yet, all of the men's crews handled the conditions exceptionally well, establishing commanding leads early in their races. Heading into the weekend, Colby was ranked 5th and Coast Guard, 11th. Now, the team heads back to Maine ready to return to the Hume Center and get out on the lake.

Now for the lineups and results:
