Waterville, Maine - To begin the 2026-27 season, Tilghman Moyer has been promoted to Assistant Head Coach for the Colby Men's and Women's Crew programs. Moyer has spent the last three years as an assistant coach on Mayflower Hill, helping elevate the Mules onto the national stage.

"I am very grateful for this promotion and recognition," Moyer said. "It is fueled by the support, mentoring, guidance, and bond that we have created within our coaching staff, alumni network, and most importantly my partner. They supply the stability needed to be all-in while giving me the freedom to be authentic. Colby Men's and Women's Crew has really committed to the vision which inspires me everyday to give them the most."

A product of the Philadelphia youth, club, and collegiate rowing community, Moyer joined the Colby Crew coaching staff to start the 2023-24 academic year. His impact has been felt immensely including assisting the men's team to secure back-to-back bids to the IRA National Championship Regatta on top of coaching five All-Americans. 

"We're incredibly excited about this promotion for Tilghman and the recognition of all the hard work and dedication that he brings every day," said Head Crew Coach Stew Stokes. "He's a tireless worker, dependable, a great communicator, and most importantly is just kind and genuine."
