Box Score Waterville, Maine - The Colby Men's Tennis team opened their spring season with a dominant 7-0 sweep of the Emerson Lions midday Saturday here on Mayflower Hill. 

In doubles, the Mules only lost three games total including an impressive 6-0 scoreline for Diego Sosa and Matthew Jeong in the #3 spot. Jason Daly and Bilal Asim won their match 6-2 in the one spot while Antonio Lee and Rhys Spano won 6-1 in the two position. In singles action, Colby stayed on top with four different Mules only losing a single game across their matches. Asim, Sosa, Lee, and Jeong all won 6-1, 6-0. To round out the 7-0 final score, Daly took the victory in the one spot 6-3, 6-2 as Spano took care of his opponent 6-1, 6-3 in the four spot. 

Colby will look to take this opening season win momentum into next weekends NESCAC match ups hosting Hamilton Saturday and Amherst Sunday.
