Waterville, Maine - The Colby College track & field teams delivered a dominant all-around performance at the Mule Tune-Up, highlighted by multiple event victories and strong depth across sprints, distance, and field events.
On the women's side,
Simone Waheed won the 60 meters in 7.69, with
Charlotte Brake-Hoffman finishing second in 7.81.
Kaitlyn Ewald captured the 600 meters in 1:36.44, leading a strong group that included
Amanda Schneider (third),
Alex Hermsdorf (fourth), and
Quinn Cushing (fifth).
Olivia Doherty won the 800 meters in 2:16.58, while Maddie Bush followed in second.
Ada Grant claimed the 3,000 meters in 10:32.37, and Colby swept the top five spots in the 5,000 meters, led by
Alexandra Herman.
Josie Hopkins added a runner-up finish in the 60-meter hurdles and placed sixth in the long jump, while
Jordan Roskiewicz took second in the triple jump. In the field,
Delaney Meagher (second, high jump) and
Gabriella Bresnick (fourth, pole vault) added key performances.
The men were equally impressive, with
Levi Biery winning the 60-meter hurdles in 8.40 and
Danny Reyes taking first in the 3,000 meters in 8:34.76, followed by
Stephen White in second.
Will Eckes won the 5,000 meters, while
Jackson Coelho (second) and Sam Graubart (fourth) led the way in the 800 meters.
Jed Gallaudet added a second-place finish in the mile. In the field events,
Logan Lehnert cleared 4.93 meters to win the pole vault, with
Lexington Lehnert finishing second and
Wyatt Patterson third.
Logan Sullivan placed second in the high jump, and
Ernest Obiorah added a third-place finish in the shot put to round out a strong meet for the Mules.
The Mules will start Championships Seasons with the D3 New England Championships on Friday, February 27.
