Brunswick, Maine - The Colby College Men's and Women's Cross Country teams headed to Bowdoin Saturday for the first meet of the 2025 season, hosted by the Polar Bears and joined by Colby and Bates.
On the Men's 6k run, Colby runner
Curtis Leachman dominated the event in first place, finishing in 18:21.79, along with
Henry Reichle in third, finishing in 18:56.84, and
Chris Gould in fourth, finishing in 18:58.87. The Men's team also took first place in team scores.
On the Women's 4.5k, Colby senior
Catherine Mongan took the top spot, finishing in 15:56.13. The Women's team is placed second in team scores.
The team will return on Saturday, September 20 for the Maine State Meet at Brunswick, Maine.
