Atlanta, Ga. — The Colby College track & field teams turned in a record-setting performance at the Emory Thrills in the Hills, held March 26-28 at Emory University, with Simone Waheed breaking a school record and multiple Mules earning all-time program marks across both sides.

Waheed headlined the women's meet by winning the 100-meter final outright in 11.67, a new school record. Charlotte Brake-Hoffman followed with a sixth-place finish in the 200 meters in 24.71, placing her third in program history, while Olivia Doherty and Brake-Hoffman went fourth and fifth in the 400 meters in 57.03 and 57.21 respectively, the latter ranking eighth all-time at Colby. Tally Zeller added a 12th-place finish in the 400 meters in 58.47. Quinn Cushing placed fifth in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:05.30, a mark ninth in school history. The 4x400-meter relay squad of Zeller, Brake-Hoffman, Doherty, and Kaitlyn Ewald captured second place in 3:45.74, placing fourth in program history. In the heptathlon, Josie Hopkins totaled 3,751 points for 12th place, a mark sixth in Colby history.

On the men's side, the 4x400-meter relay of Sam Graubart, Mark Graubart, Jackson Coelho, and Levi Biery earned runner-up honors in 3:11.98, moving the quartet to second all-time in Colby history. Sam Graubart ran 49.01 in the individual 400 meters for 10th place, placing him ninth in school history, while Biery (49.15) and Mark Graubart (50.04) also contributed strong individual showings. Patrick Kuprewicz reached the 110-meter hurdles final and placed fourth in 15.01, good for fourth all-time at Colby. In the field, Logan Sullivan cleared 1.93 meters to finish third in the high jump, placing him sixth in program history.

The Mules will return to action at the Emory Invitational II on March 27-28.
