Greensboro, N.C. - On day 3 of the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships members of the Colby Women's Swimming Team continued once again to improve on their all ready incredible season. The Mules set two new school records and added 3 more All-Americans to their total. In the 200 Medley Relay the team of
Tahlia Crowley,
Kellen Mottl,
Gabriella Landau and
Eliza Marco placed 11th over all in a time of 1:43.04. Crowley set the school record in the 50 backstroke with her lead off leg of 26.24. With their relay swim Mottl and Crowley joined the others in earning Honorable Mention All-American status.  Mottl also achieved Honorable Mention All -American status individually in the 100 breaststroke where she finished 15th.
Alexis Coates also set a school record in the 100 backstroke with her swim of 55.73. Overall she placed 13th in the event. This also earned her Honorable Mention All American.
Other swims for the Mules included
Lexi Asch in the 200 butterfly, Landau and Crowley in the 100 Backstroke and the 800 Freestyle relay team of
Zoe Buzzelli,
Lucy Mackey,
Lily Moy and Asch.
Heading into the final day of the meet the Mules sit in 20th place with 20 points.
