The Colby Women's Swimming and Diving team had a strong day at NCAA's on Friday and earned two podium finishes, scored in 4 events and set another school record. The team of
Alexis Coates,
Kellen Mottl,
Caitlin Lacey and
Eliza Marco started things off by earning First team All-American honors with a 7th place podium finish in the 200 Medley Relay. In the 100 backstroke Coates swam to a 12 place finish earning herself Second Team All-American honors. Senior
Kellen Mottl continued to help set history as she became the first Women Colby Mule since 2009 years to achieve First Team All - American honors with her 8th place podium finish in the 100 breaststroke. Also swimming individual event were
Lexi Asch in the 200 Butterfly and
Zoe Fencil in the 100 backstroke.
The 800 freestyle Relay was the last event that was competed on Friday and the Mules continued their scoring as they have now scored in all 4 relays so far.

Lucy Mackey,
Savannah Lombardi and
Aria Kapoor swam to a 16th pace finish with a new school record in the event. This swim also earns all of them Second team All-American honors.
After 3 days of competition Colby sits in 14th pace over all with 71.5 points. The meet concludes tomorrow with the 100 Freestyle, 200 Backstroke, 200 Breaststroke and 400 freestyle Relay.
