Waterville, Maine - Kate Olenik of the Colby Women's Basketball team, was named to the d3hoops.com 2025-26 preseason All-America team. The junior guard earns fourth team recognition and will look to have another impactful season starting here shortly. 

Last season Olenik helped lead the Mules to the NESCAC Championship game for just the second time in program history. In her sophomore year alone she finished with 490 points, (19.6 per game) the second most in the conference and an impressive .483 shooting percentage, the fourth best in the conference. Defensively she totaled 49 steals, the fourth most in the NESCAC.

Olenik is a two time All-Conference honoree including being named the Conference Rookie of the Year for the 2023-24 season. In her career she currently has 858 points (17.5 per game average), 263 rebounds, 111 assists and 101 steals across 49 games played. Olenik will look to add to these numbers in the upcoming season.
