CAMBRIDGE, MASS. - Women's Crew raced at the Head of the Charles regatta in the Collegiate Women's Eight event on Sunday afternoon. They secured a 19th place finish out of 37, guaranteeing them an entry into next year's race. 

Thousands of athletes and countless spectators flocked to Boston and descended on the Charles river this weekend for the iconic regatta. They were met with warm temps, clear skies, and light wind. The Women's crew, with Shayna Leinberger '26, Eliza Nilson '26, Shannon Murray '28, Zoey Honsel '28, Dede Tindall '28, Katherine Ward '28, and Ally Tecimer '29, finished in 18:17.521. This put them ahead of Coast Guard's 'A' and 'B' boats, as well as Bowdoin 'A' and Skidmore 'A.' 

The Colby Women's Crew team looks to continue their positive momentum as they look towards this weekend's CBB regatta at The Hume Center. It would be great to end this fall season on an even higher note heading into the winter training block.
