Waterville, Maine - The Colby Men's and Women's Crew teams will once again begin the fall season in Worcester, Mass. for the Quinsigamond Snake Regatta taking place Saturday October, 4th. This marks the fourth straight year that the Mules will kickoff the the season at this historic location with competitive rowing dating back to 1857.Â
Head Coach
Stew Stokes, who led the Men's team to their first ever IRA National Championship appearance last spring, returns for this 26th year leading the Mules.Â
"The teams are excited to begin the Fall racing season this Saturday and they've been doing some really good work to prepare for it," stated Stokes. "We have a strong core of returning rowers for both the women's and men's teams, and our first-year rowers have done a great job on and off the water by bringing great energy, being coachable and working hard. We're fired up to test our speed against some very strong teams this weekend and throughout the Fall racing."
Stokes is assisted by
Tilghman Moyer, who enters his second season with the team, and last spring's All-American team captain
Charlie Anderson '25.Â
Among the two rosters combined, Colby Crew has added a total of 23 first-years who will look to make an impact on the program right away. This year the women's team will be led by five seniors;

Colby first event on Saturday will begin at 8:55am with the Women's Collegiate Four race and end at 10:30am with the start of the Men's Collegiate Eight.
