Waterville, Maine - The Colby Men's Squash team came up short against Williams on Friday January 17th with a final score of three matches to six.
Notable matches were the two top sophomores in the NESCAC; Seif Ashraf vs the 2023-2024 Rookie of the Year from William's. The two talented players went to five sets due to Ashraf's incredible comeback in the fourth game to go to five sets. Carlos Zendejas also clinched a five gamer with a wild 14-12 third game victory for the Mules. Youssef Mostafa and Inwoo Lee each performed well with smooth three game victories.
With much to be proud of, the Mules played at their best but lost in the end vs a talented Williams squad.
Colby's Men's Squash team, now sitting at #20 in the nation will battle against #17, Middlebury on Sunday January 19th at 1pm.
