Bangor, Maine - The Colby College Golf team hit the links for their 2024 opener at the Bangor Municipal Golf Course Sunday hosted by Husson University.  The Mules finished third in the eight-team event, trailing regional power Husson by a mere four strokes.  

With all players shooting in the 70's for the first time in head coach Blaise MacDonald's tenure, Johnny Kinsley led the way with an even par.  His 71 put him in fourth in the 58-person field.  Mitchell Ham was one stroke behind in 6th place, while Nick Stapleton (74), Jack Dorsey (76), and Jake MacDonald (79) rounded out the scoring. 

The Mules are back in action Saturday and Sunday facing off against UMF and Thomas at the Waterville Country Club.
