Waterville, Maine – The Colby College golf team placed third overall at the UMF Invitational, held at Waterville Country Club on Sunday. The Mules finished with a team score of +31, just five strokes behind co-winners Husson and Southern Maine, who tied for first at +26.

First-year Owen Carlson continued his strong season, carding a 75 (+5) to finish in 3rd place individually. Senior Johnny Kinsley followed closely with a 76 (+6) for 5th place, while Matthew Lamy posted a 78 (+8) for 8th. Ryan Harper contributed with an 82 (+12) to finish inside the top 20, and Owen Finnerty rounded out the lineup with an 89 (+19).

Colby Golf will soon compete at the Mariners Invitational on Tuesday, September 23 at Augusta, Maine.
