Bangor, Maine - The Colby College Golf team started their season with the Husson Inivitational, and ended up in fourth place among eleven teams.
Senior
Johnny Kinsley paced the Mules with a near-flawless round of 72 (+1), highlighted by a birdie on the par-4 13th and steady play on the back nine. Matt Lamey followed with a strong 75, battling through the front nine before closing with composure on the inward stretch. First-year Owen Carlson added a 76, highlighted by a birdie on the par-4 14th, while Mitch Ham rounded out the team scoring with an 81.
The Mules will be back in action next week on Saturday, September 20 for the Colby Sid Farr Invitational, here in Waterville, Maine.
