Waterville, Maine – Colby College hosted the Sid Farr Invitational on Friday at Waterville Country Club, with golfers from across Maine competing in stroke play on the par-70, 6,026-yard course.
First-year
Owen Carlson led the way with a stellar 72 (+2) to take first place overall, topping a field of more than 35 golfers. Senior
Johnny Kinsley tied for 8th with an 81 (+11), while Matt Lamey followed closely with an 82 (+12) for 12th.
Mitchell Ham added an 84 (+14) to tie for 16th, and
Ryan Harper finished with an 89 (+19) for 25th. With the collective effort of the Colby golfers, Colby secured 2nd place in the team standings.
Golf will be back in action on Sunday, September 21 for the UMF Invitational at Waterville, Maine.
