Waterville, Maine - The Colby's Men's Swimming and Diving team once again came out on top during a thrilling CBB matchup over the weekend. In addition to winning the CBB Title for the second straight year and securing a 7-2 dual meet record, the team currently ranks 23rd in the nation and added on three more Colby records! The athletes that secured these records are the following:
Ivan Knoepflmacher in the 1 Meter Dive,
Skylar Yoham in the 200 Fly (
Brandon Morrison also broke the school record in this event, but teammate Skylar beat him),
Carson Rehkopf in the 200 Free.
Now for our first place finishers…In the 100 Backstroke,
Brandon Xiong placed first, while record breaker Yoham got first in the 200 Fly.
Spencer Cohen won the 200 Backstroke, while
Max LaRoche took down competition to win the 200 Breastroke.
Neil Mortimer had a great race and took first in the 100 Butterfly, while teammate
Alexander MacLennan got it done in the 200 IM. Colby's Diving took home the gold in both the one and three meter dives with Knoepflmacher set a record in the one meter, while
