Men's Swimming & Diving Set to Host NESCAC Championships

Waterville, Maine - The Colby Men's Swimming & Diving team is prepared to compete in the 2026 NESCAC Championships this week hosted right here on Mayflower Hill. The four day event begins Thursday, February 19th and will wrap up on Sunday the 22nd with the awards ceremony. The Mules head into the conference championships following a 6-3 record during the regular season including an upset victory to begin the season at #20 Amherst as well as taking first place in the Maine State Meet. 

Fans can follow alongside all of the action using the live results link and live video link with psych sheets, heat sheets, and daily schedules available on the NESCAC Championship Central page. Fans can also use the Meet Mobile app for this information. 

This season Colby holds the third fastest 200 medley relay time in the conference with a 1:30.03. Individually, look out for Brandon Xiong who has the second fastest 50 freestyle, 50 backstroke, and 100 backstroke times. Alex Ruckel-Bekefi also has a second fastest time in the NESCAC which is in the 50 butterfly event. Lastly, Brandon Morrison has the second fastest 200 butterfly time. 

Lookout for these Mules and the rest of the Men's team starting with the finals of the 800 Freestyle Relay Thursday night.
