Amherst, Mass.- Colby College Men's Squash traveled to Amherst College to compete in the quarterfinal round of the NESCAC Championships. The Mules defeated the Mammoths 5-4 to move into the semifinal round.
The Mules had four 3-0 victories by
Inwoo Lee,
Seif Ashraf,
Carlos Zendejas, and
Sebastian Campos.
Sebastian Campos stayed diligent in a difficult match-up, defeating his opponent 12-10 in both his first and third round.
Youssef Mostafa found a 3-1 victory only falling in his second round to put Colby over Amherst and accomplish the close 5-4 victory.
Tomorrow, February 11th, at 12:00pm, Colby College Men's Squash will remain in Amherst, Massachusetts to compete against the Trinity College Bantams in the semifinal round of the NESCAC championships.
