The Top Seeded Mules Finish NESCAC Play 10-0, Set to Host Conn. Saturday

Waterville, Maine - The 16th nationally ranked Colby College Volleyball team, coming off a historic regular season, is set to host the No. 8 seeded Conn. College Camels Saturday here on Mayflower Hill. This marks the Mules third straight NESCAC Tournament appearance.

Colby earns the top seed in the tournament for the first time since 2005 (second time in program history) after going 10-0 in conference play this season. The last time the Mules were the No. 1 seed they won the NESCAC title and their 22-2 record is the teams most wins since 2005. Colby's perfect conference record marks the 13th time a team has gone unbeaten in NESCAC action since 2000.

Just three days ago from today Colby defeated Conn. in three straight sets to conclude the regular season. Brady Moseley led the way with 11 kills and 10 digs while Sydney Bopp and Cyanne Jones totaled 11 blocks combined. Between these two teams the NESCAC postseason series stands at 1-1 with the Camels winning the last meeting, 3-1, in the 2012 quarterfinals.

Saturday's quarterfinal matchup is set for a 2:00pm start. Fans can follow alongside the action using the live stat and live video links as well as check out the NESCAC Championship Central page for more information. With a win, the Mules will host the remainder of the tournament with the semifinal round taking place Nov. 15th and the championship game to follow on Nov. 16th.
