Craftsbury, Vt. - The Colby Nordic Ski team capped the second day of racing at the UVM Carnival with three skiers in the top-10 and five in the top-14. The men's team followed up Friday's 3rd place performance with another bronze medal Saturday only a single place point out of second, while the women's team leapt up a spot from yesterday to finish 6th.
Jack Young was Colby's top performer, narrowly missing the podium in fourth place just three tenths of a second off the winner.

Andrew Defor rounded out Colby's scoring on the men's side placing 9th and 14th respectively.

Benjamin Lewis (26th) worked into the top-30 to earn NCAA qualifying points. On the women's side
Gretta Scholz matched yesterday's 10th place finish with another 10th. First-year
Maddie Hooker (headline photo) was close behind in 14th and
Isabel Seay finished the 10k skate in 23rd.
Colby returns home next weekend for the Colby Carnival.
