Brunswick, Maine - The Colby golf team placed fifteenth at the Bowdoin Invitational held at the Brunswick Golf Club. The Mules shot a four-man score of 678 over the weekend. The team shot a 343 Saturday and a 335 on Sunday. The invitational consisted of fifteen teams, with Endicott finishing in first at 31 over throughout the weekend.
Jacob Teszler led Colby for the second consecutive week. Teszler shot 87 Saturday and 81 Sunday for a total of 168 and nine over par on the weekend.
Nick Stapleton also had a great weekend, shooting 87 and 82.
Ryan Harper,
Henry Molson, and
Griffin Grise were the other three golfers for Colby. Harper tied for 65th, Molson placed 68, and Grise finished tied for 78th. The final team standing are listed below.
The Mules will look to bounce back with a win in their head to head match against Maine Maritime Academy this Thursday, September 29th at 10:00 AM. The match will take place in Augusta, Maine at the Augusta Country Club.
