The Colby Softball team traveled to Bowdoin College Saturday for games two and three of the three-game series. The Mules would split the day with the Polar Bears after taking Friday's contest, earning a series win.
Colby tallied 17 hits on the day.
Amanda Cabral,
Jackie Hill,
Ashley Ketchum, and
Grace Gouin all had multiple hit appearances. Cabral and
Logan Luebbe each homered on the day as the Mules continued to show their offensive power.
Sam Ahlholm led the Mules in the circle Saturday, scattering nine hits across nine innings, striking out five. She was the winning pitcher in Colby's 7-6 victory in game 1.
Abby Orso closed for the Mules in the first game for the save, pitching two innings, letting up only two hits with three strikeouts.
The Mules are back in action on Wednesday as they take on Saint Joseph's College in Standish.
