Worcester, Mass. - The Colby Men's and Women's Crew teams traveled to Worcester Polytechnic Institute and continued to improve on their results from previous races. Particular highlights came from the women's second varsity eight (composed of

Katie McKinley,
Caroline Alexander,
Harriet Winterer,
Ainsley Bonang,
Kelly Hooper,
Lucinda Harden and
Alessandra Amano) who placed second, beating Trinity and William Smith Colleges and the men's varsity four, which turned the tables on WPI (who had beaten them two weeks earlier) to take the win. The women's varsity four also posted a strong showing, placing second by a commanding margin over William Smith.

Kirsten Ishii and
Alyssa Kent, finished 5th overall and 1st in the Petit Final, defeating Connecticut College by a full 45 seconds.
Next week the mules will be back in action, this time for at the Presidents Cup against Maine rivals Bates and Bowdoin.
