Waterville, Maine - Fresh off their annual high-volume training block at Lake Lanier in Gainesville, Georgia, the Colby Men's and Women's Crew teams are back in New England to officially open the 2026 spring season.
The Mules will travel to Worcester, Massachusetts, this Saturday, April 4th, to compete at the Donahue Rowing Center on Lake Quinsigamond. Hosted by WPI, the regatta will see Colby square off against a powerhouse NESCAC and regional field including Wesleyan, WPI, Vassar, and Smith. Saturday's race slate kicks off right at 9:00am with the women's varsity eight race and the women's 2V8 and 3V8 to follow. The men will get into action at 10:00am with their V8 competition followed by the 2V8, 3V8, and 4V8. The women will be racing for the Jennifer McLaughlin Cup, while the men eye the Class of 2003 Cup.

Following this weekend's event in Worcester, the Mules will head to New London, Connecticut to face Coast Guard Academy on April 11.
Colby will be looking to qualify for the IRA National Championship for the second straight year which takes place in mid May.
