Philadelphia, PENNSYLVANIA - On February 20th, 2022 the men's squash team competed against Hobart College in the CSA National Championships. Overall the Mules just fell short with a tight score of 3-6. 

Some highlights include seat #2 Jonathan Sosa Uranga (3-11, 11-9, 11-3, 7-11, 11-7) who started off cold and lost the first game. Sosa then came back, winning the second and the third games. After falling short in the fourth game, Sosa knew he had to win the next game. After advice from fellow teammates, Sosa won the fifth game, securing the first win of the day for the Mules.

Another highlight includes #6 Ryan Santoro (2-11, 11-7, 5-11, 11-7, 11-7), who also played a tight fifth game match. Santoro started off slow in the beginning, but he kept up with his opponent, winning the second and the fourth game. With the game score being 2-2, Santoro pulled out the win, securing the second win of the day for the Mules. 

A last highlight includes seat #4 Alex Spafford (11-1, 11-5, 20-18), who pulled out the third and final win of the day, and outplayed his opponent in just three games. 

This match concluded the season for the men's squash team, placing them #27 in the College Squash Overall Team Rankings. Look out for updates on the Colby Squash Instagram.
