LEWISTON, Maine -- Colby College's Paige Hanssen reached 10 kills or more for the sixth time in the last seven matches, but Brandeis University took a 3-0 win over the Mules in non-conference play at Bates College on Saturday.
The Judges won by set scores of 25-14, 25-10, 25-23.
By the numbers
* Hanssen also had 10 defensive digs and four blocks.
* Elizabeth Middlebrook (pictured) finished with five kills and 11 digs, while Molly Manuel had 23 assists. Erin Maidman added 11 digs and Natalie Simonton had seven digs and two blocks.
Next up
Colby will play host to University of Maine at Presque Isle on Friday at 6 p.m. The match was just added to the schedule this past week.
