Caverly named All-NESCAC

WATERVILLE, Maine -- Colby College senior guard MK Caverly (Point Pleasant, N.J.), who helped the Mules make the league semifinals, was named to the New England Small College Athletic Conference Women's Basketball All-Conference Second Team on Wednesday.

Caverly was one of 10 players selected to the two teams. Caverly's play at starting point guard the past three years helped the Mules to a 44-32 record, three trips to the conference playoffs, and two appearances in the NESCAC Final Four.
 

Caverly is first in the NESCAC in free throw percentage (84.9), first in assists (114 total), and first in conference game assists (49). She also was sixth in the league in minutes played (30.9) and seventh in steals (47). Caverly averaged 7.5 points per game and had six games this year with eight assists or more.

Caverly finished her career with 539 points, 308 rebounds, 286 assists, 128 steals, and shot 86 percent (162-for-189) from the foul line.
