FRANCONIA, N.H. -- Mardi Haskell placed fourth for the Colby College women and Michael Boardman was 10th for the men in giant slalom racing at the University of New Hampshire Carnival at Attitash on Friday.
Haskell (pictured), who missed the giant slalom run last week at Whiteface Mountain, had times of 1:07.53 and 1:13.59 for a two-run total time of 2:21.12. She also was was in fourth place after the first run.
The Colby women only had two skiers finish both runs and took eighth place with 56 points. Ryanne Daley was 32nd in 2:29.20.
Boardman had his second straight top-10 finish in the giant slalom. He had runs of 1:06.59 and 1:11.66, while
Max Richard placed 21st in 2:20.53. Boardman placed fifth in the GS at the St. Lawrence University Carnival last weekend.
