Biography

BEFORE COLBY

Matt graduated from Vail Mountain School, where he played soccer. He received the Headmaster's Award for Outstanding Evidence of Intellectual Curiosity.

AT COLBY

Matt is a Computational Biology and Studio Art double major. He is a member of the Colby Volunteer Club and the Colby Fly Fishing Club.

2020 Season highlights: Calarco was a tremendous asset to the team this season. Though he only competed at the regional championships this year, Calarco was on the mountain as our team manager/ student assistant throughout the season.   

2019 season highlights: Calarco competed in five of the six EISA Carnivals with his best finish coming at the UVM Carnival, 39th in the slalom.

2018 season highlights: Matt competed in the Colby, Dartmouth, Williams, and Middlebury Carnivals for the Mules this season. His best finish came at the Colby Carnival where he finished 30th in the slalom.

2017 season highlights: Calarco's best results came in slalom, where he finished fourth at the Wes Marco meet and fifth at the MARA U-21 qualifier meet.
