WATERVILLE, Maine — Colby College's CJ Smith (Locust Valley, N.Y.) was honored with New England Small College Athletic Conference men's squash honors for the fourth straight year and teammate Will McBrian (Dedham, Mass.) earned all-league honors for a second time on Thursday.
Smith made the All-NESCAC Second Team all four years. He just won his 50th career match last weekend at the College Squash Association Team Championships and is 50-48 overall. Smith, who was 14-7 this year, has played the first, second, and third positions in his career.
McBrian, a sophomore, won seven matches at the first position and is 25-25 in his career. He earned the NESCAC All-Sportsmanship Team honor last year after Smith had won it the previous two seasons.
Smith, a senior captain, and McBrian helped the Mules finish the season ranked 21st in the country and win the consolation final of the Summers Cup at the team championships.
