Brunswick, Maine – The Colby College men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Maine State Championships, hosted by Bowdoin on Saturday.
On the men's side,
Stephen White led the Mules with a 2nd-place finish in the 8k (25:12.0), followed by
Eli Ziegler (3rd, 25:12.7),
Henry Reichle (5th, 25:24.9),
Brady Clegg (18th, 25:55.7), and
Ryan Todisco (27th, 26:09.5) to round out the scoring five.
For the women,
Ada Grant paced the team with a 5th-place finish in the 6k at 21:46.5. She was followed by Lucy Huggett (24th, 22:28.5), Zoe Goodman (30th, 22:39.0),
Abbey Wolfe (33rd, 22:45.7), and
Noe Nalavala (34th, 22:45.9).
The Mules will return to action on October 4 for the DIII Pre-Nationals hosted by Carleton College at Northfield, Minn.
