Louisville, Ky. — The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) revealed its 2026 Division III All-Region awards today, with six members of the Colby Softball program earning recognition in Region I following a vote by the region's head coaches.

Colby's six selections tie the Mules with Manhattanville (Region III), Rowan and Stockton (both Region IV), and East Texas Baptist and Texas Lutheran (both Region X) for the most recipients by a single school in Division III, outside of three programs that landed seven.

The Mules placed three players on the All-Region First Team, headlined by senior outfielder Carissa Cassidy, sophomore pitcher Sophia Meade, and sophomore third baseman Avery Lyman.

Earning a spot on the All-Region Second Team is first-year pitcher Sharlotte Stazinski, while junior first baseman Ella Wilcox and junior utility player Juliana Kiley both received All-Region Third Team accolades.

All six honorees now advance to the national ballot for NFCA All-American consideration. The NFCA will officially announce the 2026 Division III All-America squads on Wednesday, May 27.
