Women's Tennis Hosting Endicott for Spring Opener

Waterville, Maine - The Colby Women's Tennis team is ready to begin the 2026 spring season this Sunday, March 1st welcoming the Gulls of Endicott College to Mayflower Hill. The Mules are coming off three successful tournaments from the fall season and will look to carry that momentum into the head to head matchups.

"Colby Women's Tennis is ready to roll!" stated Head Coach Erin Reeves. "We've had a good couple weeks of practice as we head towards our first match at home versus Endicott.  Lead by our senior Captains Amelie Gal and Isabella Suk, the team has really been working hard on the courts and in the weight room.  Last year we did not graduate anyone, so the entire team is back along with our three first years (Kat Lowy, Soumya Wijesekera and Tina Barrow) and we are optimistic that we will continue to build on last years success.   After welcoming the Gulls to Maine, we will get right into NESCAC play on the road against Hamilton and Amherst.  We will certainly be tested right out of the gate, but we are ready!"

Reeves is now entering her fourth spring season with the team. She is assisted by Devin Lachapelle who joined the program in the spring of 2024.

Following their two road conference matches, the Mules will face Brandeis in Waltham, Mass. before heading on their spring break trip facing opponents in Georgia and South Carolina. Colby will look to claim a spot in the NESCAC tournament this spring for the fifth consecutive season.
