Max Poulton knocked down seven 3-pointers on his way to a game-high 25 points as the Colby Men's Basketball team shot 53 percent from the field in a 96–69 win over Husson on Tuesday night. This is Poulton's second straight game of scoring 25 points. The Mules improve their overall record to 12-4 on the season with the Eagles dropping to a 11-5 record.
Colby built a 52–41 halftime lead behind an explosive perimeter effort, hitting 11 threes in the opening frame. The Mules kept their foot down in the second half, pushing the margin to as many as 34 while finishing 16-for-37 from beyond the arc.
Dan Civello added 17 points on 8-of-12 shooting and grabbed five rebounds, while
Sam Hinman posted a well-rounded 15 points and a game-high nine boards.
Savion Stroud dished out five assists to go alongside seven points and six rebounds.
Colby out rebounded Husson 49–27 with 40 points in the paint compared to the Eagles 18. The 96 points matches the highest total for the Mules this season as they look to carry that offensive momentum into the seven NESCAC games remaining on the 2025-26 calendar.
Men's Basketball will be on the road for their next three games starting with Bowdoin College Saturday afternoon in Brunswick.
