Waterville, Maine - Assistant Colby Women's Lacrosse Coach
Kyra Schwartzman, who joined the program ahead of the 2024-25 academic year, has been selected to take part in this year's IWLCA Aspire Assistant Coach Program.
"I am incredibly honored and excited to be selected as a part of the 2025-2026 Aspire program," said Schwartzman. "I am looking forward to the opportunity to connect with like-minded professionals and challenge myself to be a better coach and mentor in service of the athletes I have the privilege of working with. I hope to be able to bring back new ideas and perspective to the Colby community and come out a more well-rounded coach."
This professional development program which launched in 2024, was designed to align with the IWLCA's vision to offer an intensive, high-quality continuing education opportunity for current assistant coaches. The inaugural Aspire class of 17 spots has been expanded to feature two cohorts of 15 coaches each for 2025-26.
The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization representing over 1,200 coaches and staff at NCAA Division I, Division II, Division III, and NAIA collegiate programs. The mission of the IWLCA is to lead, serve, and honor the game of women's lacrosse and those who coach it.
