Box Score Babson Park, MA - Following a spring break trip to California, the Mules had a showdown against the #14 ranked Babson Beavers in Massachusetts. 

In doubles play, the Beavers came out hot, winning at the #1 position 6-1, followed by a convincing 6-2 win at the #2 spot. With these two wins, Babson clinched the opening doubles point. Colby was victorious at the #3 spot, however, with junior captain Amelie Gal and first-year Ella Novion continuing their impressive play, defeating their opponents 6-4 in a tight matchup. 

In singles play, the Beavers continued their success, winning in straight sets at the #1, #2, #3, #5, and #6 positions. Novion had a strong showing in her singles match at the #4 spot, winning the first set, before ultimately falling to her opponent 2-6, 6-4, 1-0(2). 

Colby will look to bounce back against #6 ranked Middlebury tomorrow at 11 am.
